Laser Technician Training

IAE also offers a Certified Laser Practitioner (CLP) Program in Edmonton for students wanting to further their profession and upgrade their education. This program will prepare you for a gratifying career in the beauty industry. After six weeks time you will graduate as a Certified Laser Practitioner with the skills needed to pursue careers such as; Laser Practitioner, Laser Technician or a Medi-Spa Esthetician.

The IAE certified curriculum for the CLP Program gives students an opportunity to gain hands-on training with the latest equipment and most knowledgeable instructors available. Students will study the Physics of Lasers, Fitzpatrick & Obagi Skin Classifications, Skin Disorders & Skin Typing, Client Consultation Procedures, Medical Terminology, Microdermabrasion, Cosmeceutical Skin Care & More. Laser Hair Removal
Laser Facials
Laser Spider Vein Reduction
IPL Skin Rejuvenation
Microdermabrasion
Fluorescent Therapy and more!

If you meet eligibility requirements, you may also pursue your ITEC Diploma in Laser and Light therapy for an additional fee. Like all of our ITEC programs, the diploma you receive will be internationally recognized in the esthetics field.
